The Tubes emerged onto the San Francisco music scene in 1969 and became well known for their media savvy and theatrical skills.

 

In the early 1980s they released the hit classic rock songs "She's a Beauty," "Talk To Ya Later," and "The Monkey Time."

 

Fee Waybill and The Tubes come back to help us close another concert season with a family-friendly show on the Boardwalk stage!

Starting in January, these classes are free and ongoing. Call the fire station, 335-4422, to sign up for the next available class.

* CPR Monday:
o The first two months of each quarter
o The 4th Monday from 6:30 to 9:30 PM
* First Aid/CPR
o Every third Month

The Small Business Survival Series is a free brown bag event offered the second Thursday of every month, February through November. Learn the skills every small business owner should have to create and maintain a healthy and successful small business. Bring your own brown bag lunch.


The Small Business Survival Series is presented by the Downtown Association of Santa Cruz, The Central Coast Small Business Development Center, Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries, and the City of Santa Cruz Department of Redevelopment and Economic Development. Sponsored by the generous support of Bay Federal Credit Union.

Special Instructions: bring water, behind Hwy 9 Fire station

Ultimate beginner line dance classes start with the simplest coordination dance moves, and then slowly progresses to more advanced coordination dance moves. The class format program uses Val Meyers indicative absolute beginner's program. Each classes has at least 20-30 minutes of dancing and a dance lesson. Dance technique help footnotes are added in the lessons where needed. Class environment is relaxed, low key, and intended for play, fun, and exercise. Come get some exercise while having great fun! No partner needed to dance in line dance.
