(0 January 2018) Book_ToKillAMockingbird.jpgSanta Catalina School Theatre Arts presents To Kill a Mockingbird

Few perspectives on American society have been as insightful or as poignant as that of young Scout Finch, the heroine of Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, To Kill a Mockingbird.

Adapted for the stage by Christopher Sergel, this moving play follows Scout's journey as her father, Atticus, defends Tom Robinson, a black man framed for a crime he did not commit. As the trial progresses, Scout and her brother, Jem, witness their community divided over issues of justice and racism.

Santa Catalina's stirring portrayal of both racial and family relations is a must-see production.

Reservations recommended.  Please call for group rates. For ticket reservations, please call 831.655.9341 or visit santacatalina.org/tickets.

Shadow Day

How do students know if Kirby is a good fit? A shadow day is an ideal way to find out. We will pair your student with a student host with similar interests. Together they will experience a "day in the life" at Kirby. They will attend classes together, hang out with other Kirby students, and enjoy lunch with their host and some of their friends.

How it works:

  • Monday is our preferred shadow day because of our block schedule. However, a shadow day can be scheduled any day of the week.
  • Student shadows are treated to a hot lunch made fresh in our kitchen.
  • Schedule your shadow day through the Admissions Office. Call (831) 423-0658 ×202.
