Learn about a different topic on the 3rd Saturday of each month with George Haas and Anthony Rovai, financial advisers at Money Concepts Capital Corporation. Start getting your personal finances in shape. The series starts on September 16th and runs through May.

The program happens every May and October and now represents the largest sustainable transportation event in the region and serves a combined total of over 13,000 residents every year.

Hometown Teams explores the deep roots of sports in American culture, and shows how we engage in and watch sports to have fun, build up our communities, and support each other.

 

Hometown Teams is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and State Humanities Councils nationwide. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress.

Celebrate Fall at the Annual Gault Elementary Halloween - Da de los Muertos Parade & Carnival
Date: 10/28/2017 from 9:00am to 2:00pm

Gault Elementary School invites all of Santa Cruz to put on costumes and join us for our annual fall celebration. Festivities begin with a Costume Parade down Soquel Avenue and culminate with a fun-filled Carnival on the school grounds of Gault Elementary. Carnival will feature games, food, prizes, music, and trophies for the best home-made costumes! Come join us for good old-fashioned spooky fun!

9:00 a.m. Costume Parade Participants (all are invited to march in parade!) assemble at the corner of N. Branciforte & Soquel in front of The Buttery

9:30 a.m. Costume Parade begins at the corner of N. Branciforte & Soquel, turns right on Seabright, and ends at Gault Elementary School

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Carnival: Games, face painting, cakewalk, sugar skull decorating, & more!
