Oh Joy! Summer!

Dear Parents,

Even though June in Santa Cruz tends to be cloudy or foggy, Summer is my favorite season!  I'm certain that it stems from childhood relief at being out of school (though I liked school), the extra freedom of summer, freedom from homework, freedom from heavy winter clothes and the joy of getting to read for long stretches.

Add to that living in the bay with the beaches only minutes away.  Joy!
